Coral Net was developed by a collaboration between the UCSD computer vision group and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. It was developed by a team at the UCSD computer science department, led by Ph.D. candidate Oscar Beijbom. Davey Kline is the ecological advisor on the project.

    well, that's one way to waste a couple hundred grand. good going insurance company. but if you have that much money to waste why don't you just lower people's rates? i think that would be more beneficial to mankind.

    SO COOL! I homeschool our 3 mancubs in TN (not too far from ya), and are currently studying the coral reef. We've been watching your channel for a couple years, so I searched "Smarter Everyday Coral Reef" – so glad I did! They're excited to find the CURIOUS HUMAN SPECIES.
