On this video I show you the Beaver frameless Atomic dive mask, a lovely bit of kit…but i dug out an old mask I bought in Australia about 10 years ago from a sports shop as a cheap snorkelling set, its make is called a mirage…and lo and behold, they are identical masks…except very minor cosmetic differences on the strap buckles.
So do Dive companies just use mould that have been used before? I don’t know…maybe someone from Beaver could answer this ?

Aropec is the original manufacturer. They sells the product to other companies that only makes minor changes such as putting their names on the side of the mask or changing the strap design.
Yes they make a mold and presses various company names to make money.
