I find it funny when someone who says they dive a lot and then in the water, they don’t understand me when I signal my gas and ask theirs?

Took my advanced open water cert dives last weekend. I wear diving mits that have 'three' fingers plus thumb. So I have a slightly different way to communicate if I use my hands. The gauge is a great option that I like to use as it leaves no room for misinterpretation.

Or like when I was at one of the most popular dive destinations in the world, Key Largo. They put thousands over the arm. For instance 2000 would be two fingers from one hand and bang forearms together. Never understood why those guys don't follow the universal signal taught by ALL agencies which you just demonstrated. At least they put it in the brief though. Good video.
