Scuba Tip Clean Wetsuit

A fellow instructor requested that we show how to clean a wet suit, so here it is. Simply put your suit in fresh water and then hang in a shady area to dry. Using a commercial cleaning agent works best (Trident gear wash) and a little mouth wash for fresh clean smell.

Having learned to dive late in life I made up for it in my first year by clocking up 120+ open water dives in places from the UK to Australia. Instead of mouthwash, you can also use hydrogen peroxide – thing that normally happens to be home all the time too.
