O'NEILL MENS J-TYPE DIVE WETSUIT( VS O'NEILL SECTOR)

4 21

HI, THIS IS A VID CLIP SHOWING SOME OF THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE J-TYPE AND SECTOR WETSUITS. THEY ARE SIMILAR, BUT THE SECTOR IS ONLY A 7MM SINGLE SKIN WHICH I WEAR A 5MM HOODED VEST WITH, WHILST THE J-TYPE IS A 7MM OUTER SKIN INCORPORATING A 5MM LONGLOHN VEST.
SEE WHAT YOU THINK.
THANKS TO PATRICK AY CHAPEL IDNE SURF SHOP (SENNEN COVE, CORNWALL, UK)FOR GETTING THE REP TO SOURCE IT FOR ME, AND A BIG THANKS TO ALL AT PORTHKERRIS DIVE CENTRE FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME ,AND DAVE FOR NOT GETTING TOO TEASY WHeN I STOOD ON HIS LAPTOP…BREAKING IT (with a little help from DAZ’S TEQUILA!!!!} LOL!
I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGISE FOR BEING FILMED IN MY BUDGIE SMUGGLERS, BUT I AM NOT GOING TO! BUDGIE SMUGGLERS OF THE WORLD UNITE…DONT BE ASHAMED, BUDGIES ARE THE BEST MOST PRACTICAL TRUNKS TO WEAR IN THE WATER! ITS ALWAYS BEST TO KEEP YOUR BEST FRIENDS CLOSE, ESPECIALLY IN A WETSUIT!

I'm looking into buying one of these suits. How much more weight did you have to add to your ballast vs. a standard 7mm suit?

I sympathize with the effort needed to get into the wetsuit. I have been trying various brands and got nearly overheated in the process. Thanks for showing the hooded vest, nice piece of kit but I thought it is only 3mm? Anyway good job
