Why skip the part about hot to attach he snorkel to the mask? There are many kinds of straps and hooks and it is not obvious which goes where. But no one includes this in the tutorials. it is the FIRST STEP!!!

Where can you buy the ones that prevent water from going in while under water. Does anyone know a website or store that sell those types?
I'm still confused as to how you expel the water after you surface. Is it that you take a deep breath through the snorkel before you submerge, and then use that to blast out the water. If you forget to take a deep breath before submerging, then you're not going to be able to push out the water, right?
