Kids Snorkeling in Pensacola Beach Snorkeling Reef – WILL THEY SNORKEL?
Hey Travelers,
We are in Pensacola Beach Florida and we have found a snorkeling reed in Escambia County Bay near the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
Over the summer we bought the kids snorkel masks and over the summer we have been practicing snorkeling in the backyard pool. We are now ready for some snorkeling in Pensacola.
We found this Pensacola Snorkeling Reef when we were on the Gulf side of the beach and it started to rain. Krista did some research and found this snorkeling reef right across the street from where we were.
If you want to snorkel Pensacola Florida with kids, this is a great reef to teach your kids how to snorkel. This is only the second time that Amelia has used her snorkel, and she is doing great at snorkeling. Jacques is still working up the courage to go out into the water with this snorkel, but I know that over time he will get better.
The kids snorkeling mask that we bought are made by U.S. Divers (link below). We found this great snorkeling set with the mask, the snorkel, and the fins, and the kids have been having fun using them.

Do you have a snorkel? If so, what kind…
Leslie would have a heart attack. She doesn't swim in water if you can't see the bottom. Looks fun to me though. Used to snorkel a lot when we lived in Hawaii. Lots of fun.
