How to Fit a Closed Heel Scuba Diving Fin | ADRENO Scuba Diving
How to Fit a Closed Heel Scuba Diving Fin. Adreno’s Luke Latham explains how to fit a closed heel scuba diving fin when using a dive sock. Having a fin that fits your foot well is crucial for a comfortable dive. This video explains how to make sure your closed heel scuba diving fin is fitted correctly, allowing you to enjoy your scuba dive as much as possible!
You can use a snorkel or freediving fin (the type of fin where you feet slide straight in, without the use of diving fin straps).
The first check is to make sure the heel area is nice and snug. To check this, you simply put one finger in on either side of your foot while wearing the fins, and you can feel how tight they are.
The final check is to put your feet up in the swim position and make sure that the tension does not get too tight.
