Scuba Diving the "Wood Pile" in Lake Michigan
Traverse City used to be a major logging town back in the 1800’s and early 1900’s. This is a underwater location filled with logs and milled lumber from 100 years ago. The wood remains in perfect condition in the Cold lake Michigan water. Water temp of this dive was 42.F and the air outside was the same temp.
