This will stretch your boots and gloves.
When I bought my fins they had plastic in them to help them keep their form during shipping, I decided to keep them thinking they might have a use later, thought I didn't know what. then I watched this video, so, I tried them in my gloves and boots recently. They worked beautifully.
I have a kind of funny method for drying my boots. I put in some old socks i filled with (non-clumping) cat litter.

Also my strategy is to let them sit in my car until they dry. They get there but they make my car stink!
